Morocco's House of Representatives (lower house) passed on Tuesday a draft law completing the penal code legislation on violence acts during sports events.
The draft law, which incriminates acts of violence in stadiums and the damage caused to sports facilities, introduces deterrent penalties against trouble and violence instigators.
It also introduces preventive measures by prohibiting people under the influence of alcohol or drugs as well as those carrying arms or instruments likely to be used in violence acts, from having access to sports facilities.
